Any DeskNow users out there?

DeskNow has calendar-sharing server software for Mac, Windows and Linux. It requires Java and MySQL, and before I install all this as well as the trial version, I would be interested in feedback from anyone out there who has tried DeskNow. Better yet, if you've successfully integrated Apple iCal with a Windows Mobile calendar using DeskNow, let me know. Its ability to share calendars behind a firewall is what caught my attention.

well. it's been some time I see since a post has been left here. but I've stumbled across your site looking for Android to Desknow syncing and thought I'd at least leave you an answer to your question. Desknow is a phenomenal platform for Groupware/Collaboration/Personal Email. I use it to sync to a Windows Mobile Smartphone - HTC TiltII (AT&T). It's been great to have my contacts, calendar, email, (wife's and kid's included) syncronized to my one phone. The Desknow/WindowsMobile combo has made it impossibly difficult to "trade up" to an Iphone or Android at this point.

Still running DeskNow! I've been using imap to connet with desknow for email and it works fine. Never thought about calendar functions....
